2005 Eddie Bauer excursion with 138,000 on a 6.0 worth 15,000? Sounds like alot of miles to me. Seems like all the excursions have high miles though

better than these newer turds. you can stick some money in the 6.0 and have a good rig. those miles are nothing to a diesel.

I was at the Ford Dealer yesterday getting a couple things done and they had 2 new 6.7 in there, 1 had a complete new engine going in(dropped Valve) and the other they were replacing the Turbo.....

I looked at a new one but they are getting rediculas 57,000 out right...with the X plan and trade in..... I still like my payed for 2003...and besides that Grill has not grown on me yet...if and when I do buy one I will definitely have to change that ugly thing

Just need a truck and a family vacation vehicle. Heard the v10 sucks gas and underpowered. Don't mind teens with the diesel.

Quite a few of the 6.7L diesels being bought up around here and no one that I've talked to has had an ounce of trouble with them. My 11 model was going strong without an issue when I traded it off, and the new one seems to be as good so far. Great power and good economy, and runs every time I turn the key. Cool

A good friend of mine has a 2001 F350 4x4 with a V10.It has a little over 400K miles on it and still runs like a champ. He makes a trip or two to Colorado every year from here in Tennessee in it. On these trips he gets 14-15 mpg. Only mods on his truck are superchips tuner and diesel style exhaust. He also has a 2000 E350 van with a V10 and quigley 4x4 coversion with over 200K miles on it. Both of these vehicles have served him well. Just my .02 ---RED

Sounds good. Need the room of the excursion for the yearly family trip to Florida. Edge doesnt have enough room and its shot. Wife doesn't want an suv. But my 500 is wore out also. Think she is getting a Subaru. I'm going excursion or expedition
