2013 TAURUS SHO

Just got got mine. Man what a car ! Anyone else on here have one of these 4th generation SHO's ? Need to know what to expect 30,000 miles down the road.

I don't know how reliaibilty is after a lot of miles but i think a Livernois tuned SHO has ran low 12's in the 1/4 mile.

I drove one at the local dealer the other day. That thing was a bad as# family car. The one I drove had every gadget on it that you can imagine. I'd like to have a stripped down one with just the basics. Something cool about spinning all 4 wheels. I'm not sure the salesman was real excited about riding with me but I enjoyed it. Congrats on your new purchase.

If its like the old Taurus's,tell us how it's doing after about 250k I'd like to afford one

I've got a 2010 Flex with the identical drivetrain as your SHO. Mine has 71k on it andno issues yet...

That's good to hear,my EcoBoost F-150 hit 13,000 miles a couple days ago.

I wonder how much that tune cost ?? Ahh nevermind I've already got one hot rod eating me out of house and home. I cant afford another.

I know the one for the EcoBoost in the Truckin Magazine was $599.99.On the one F-150 website there's a guy on there running 12.8's with a F-150 EcoBoost Supercrew 4X4.

Hmmmmm can I instal it myself ? Please keep in mind my knowledge of electronics is limited to turning on the radio in this thing. Also I dont want too void the warranty as I'm sure I cant afford to repair it if anything breaks.

They said you can mail order the programmer.That's what would scare me is the warranty.
