Taurus/Sable Recomendations

Our daughter is looking at getting another Taurus or Sable, she really liked the one she had. I like how safe it kept her.

The car she had was a 1994 and had major rust issues that I had fixed. Are the later years less prone to rust? I found a real nice looking 2002 Taurus for $1900. If it's gonna rust away in a bit we may look for a Crown Vic or something.

Yep, rust on rust eh?. Great!! They must get the ice melt cheap or maybe that's where all our taxes are going.....

Her last car had rust in the strangest places too. Both rockers were shot, both rear dog legs (in front of rear wheels), one hood strut mount was rotten, hole in the floor, rad cradle was real rusty. The rest of the car was mint. I'm not sure if they used different rust treatments in those areas or what.

They all rust in the Rust Belt !! if you find a clean one, Spray it down with old oil, that gives it a little more life and will help it live a little longer.

buy one from the west. we use sand instead of salt. out here you only see newer vehicles rusted out if there is an ontario plate on it
