cam recomendations
I have a 632 Thor motor single Carb. Looking for some recommended can specs. 2.300 installed height. Wanting a Max effort deal. Thanks Eric oh rockers are open.

Only the exhaust side to fix the excessive wear which showed on some of the exhaust lobe flanks; there is a different cam in his engine.
That should work well for your application.

It's not like you giving a lot of info...... Your probably best contacting some one to grind you one up if its a top secret max effort deal......

What all u need to know nothing top secret here. 4.600 bore. 4 3/4 stroke16.5to1 comp. Heads just cleaned up 2.480 in. 1.88ex titanium valves. Don't have rockers yeaht waiting till I figure a good cam choice? Thanks

I would bet that carb won't be enough, Quick Fuel 1450 is seeming to be a good choice on the bigger engines that Phillip has been doing lately. That thing will be a beast in that buggy when you get it going. Hold on for dear life

In the directions A.T. sends with the heads, he suggests a 2.500" intake and a 1.840" exhaust. Kind of curious why you chose the 2.480" and the 1.880" sizes?

I talked to art personally and that's what he said to put in it??? I was pisses when he told me that cause we bought 2.520 for the intake and said to cut them down to 2.480??? Didn't make sense to me.

This is the cam I run in my thor headed 605 with a 1.9 rocker ratio.

OK guys I decided to beat the roller cam bearings out and pit a 60mm cam in what u think?

Thanks guys its only money..lol I don't want to run 1.9 rockers that's the reason behind the 60mm just what was recommended to me by a very intelligent motor builder?? Think I'm going with a 288-310 116 lsa some where around a .980ex 1.0in lift. The cam is only 200$ more supposably

Well I got my answer from the forum I have 4 or 5 pm's. Took all that info in and plus on the phone with roger at kasse thanks to everyone....
