port o sonic vs torker II

Which is a better overall intake?

ive used both, never back to back or on the same combo..... imo for what i was doing the t2 was better

i am runing a port a sonic in my pop, got a 429 dove a block, stock self ported dove a heads, 800 d/p holley, sonic intake, 268 cam, 21/8 headers & a squirt ove 100 nos, light car, runing 9.7 1.4 miles @140+ was abit slower wey a torquer on it, but hey iam light.

Remember that a "Torquer" and a "Torquer II" are two different manifolds.

The "Torquer" and "Torquer II" are BOTH single plane intake manifolds.

Randy,I picked up a nice street 460 the other day,it has a Torker 460 intake on it. I'm not familiar w/this intake,but I will say,it doesn't impress me much looking down the throat of it. Whats your take ?

AGAIN ... A "TORQUER 460" is NOT the same manifold as a a "TORQUER II".

The original TORQUER was released in the mid 70's, (Edelbrock even released a smaller runner version of this called a "Streetmaster" manifold),  and is a manifold meant for fuel mileage, not high horsepower.

Yea, this is the Torker NOT the T2. Pic's I have found on web looks like the ports are rect. Not impressed. Thx
