another c head ?
what do you guys suggest is the optimum compression for nitrous ? i know most say 12.5-13.5 but i would rather make a little more power using nos then trying to make 1200 n/a and then trying to spray to get to a e.t
im wanting to make 1500-1600 on nitrous and hopefully not have issues ---- im gonna order pistons with ceramic coated tops and coated skirts --- and gonna run a mgp connecting rod and try to keep engine under 7500 rpms
is this doable ? this is not a class motor i have no rules i am also switching to external oil system

I don't see it that way....why build a limp dick engine that will not run unless it's sprayed ? And yes, I'm very aware of those guys that make a good living selling those engine packages.

LEM NOT TO BE DISRESPECTFUL BUT IN A 3400# CAR LIKE MINE THAT MOTOR WILL GO 7.90,S -- ILL NEVER BE ABLE TO USE ALL THE POWER RIGHT OF THE GET GO SO WITH SMALL TIRES I DONT BELIEVE AN ALL OUT MOTOR IS RIGHT FOR ME ---ILL DO WHAT EVER YOU GUYS THINK WILL WORK BUT LOOKING FOR THE RIGHT WAY ... There is a lot of performance difference between 12.5/1 and 14/1. At 14/1-14.25/1 the ign. timing is not that difficult to manage. While I consider 12.5/1 soft, I'm not saying to jump out 15.5/1 either. Putting the ratio in the 'middle ground' can get you a package that'll play well with or w/o the hose on it.

sounds good lem thanks for the heads up im thinking 14;1 should get the job done and with a mild nos tune i should be able to meet my goals
