oil plugs Empty oil plugs

Started on my block today and got my new freeze plug kit out and started to put the new oil plugs back in.I have 2 that are tapered I know 1 goes in at the front but where does the other one go.He pulled them at the machine shop as I had forgot to remove them before I carried it so I am not sure where the 2nd one goes.
