C460 Heads and Intake Question
Does anyone know who casts the C460 heads and intake for Ford? Not real important, just curious.
The more I mess with this C460 stuff the more I feel they have been seriously under-rated.
Thanks, Bret

Re: C460 Heads and Intake Question
Bret,I have noticed a certain trade mark stamped on alot of heads such as the "kaase P51" and other head manufacturers. I have also noticed that same trademark design on a great deal of Alum. wheels from both foreign and domestic. The exact 3 letter trade mark escapes me at this time but in my mind i think its something like JWL or something similar to that. But,I've never looked at a C head so I don't know for sure.

Re: C460 Heads and Intake Question
I believe the C460 heads are done thru Roush, not sure of the foundry, I'd guess some where in MI
Rick the initials a JMP that's the foundry where Kaase has the P-51 heads cast.

Re: C460 Heads and Intake Question
I think the surface has only been scratched on what they are capable of. Being that they are a fairly high end set of specialty heads, the R&D has been slow, and there is a lot to be learned yet.Bret Powell wrote:Does anyone know who casts the C460 heads and intake for Ford?
