CB 110 Sonic Tester Cost?

Does anybody know what a CB 110 Sonic Tester Cost? A guy wants $100.00 to check a block for me. Just wondered if there real exspensive.

The last good one I looked at was hovering around the $1200.00 mark... That's about what the guy was getting here before he left town...

I pay $25 for mine at MADCAP RACING ENGINES (owned by V.Gaines ) since there the only shop i could find that could do it. I guess they want to know what all those Pro Stock block are when the get them in.

I bought my sonic tester a loooong time ago, it was right around $1000 way back then.

CB-110 standard package had no price ------The one below was $1550 with a lot more options included.

Some brands testers have different size probes for doing different jobs. Mine came with a small probe for testing small OD stuff like tubing, and a larger curved face probe for doing larger ID stuff like cylinder walls.

Wouldn't these be handy for head porters also?
