Valve cover help!?!?! Empty Valve cover help!?!?!

I recently bought some professional products valve covers and these only 6 bolt holes and my heads have 7. Then i checked on ebay and half the valve covers have 6 bolt holes. I have dove heads on my 429. Whats goin on here? LOL

Nothing out of the ordinary here. That's pretty much the way everyone in the aftermarket does it. It will be fine, no worries.

My ford motorsports aluminum valve covers are the same way I just glued/rtv the gaskets to the valve covers not to the heads that way when I pull them the gasket stays with cover plus the gasket dont slip doen on the top where the bolt hole is missing

If you run a lot of vacuum in the crankcase, you should screw a little short stud in to the unused hole on the head, to prevent the gasket from being sucked in.
Just make it protrude 1/2 gasket thickness...
