82 F250 4x4 (about 500HP with 150HP nitrous shot), 37" rubber, 7" lift. 4.56 gearing. Stock C6 (but JW performance TQ), stock BW1356 transfer case. 75% on street use, rest is off road playing, trail forging, etc.
If I keep building this engine, what driveline component is most likely to break first - axle shaft, u-joint, transfer case?
What is the next area I should be looking at so I don't get stranded off road?

If you haven't upgraded the front axle to a Dana 60, I'd highly recommend it with that combo. The rear should be a 10.25 and will handle more than your giving it. So will the stock dana 60 shafts. but you can upgrade the outers to a dana 70 style, but you will have to upgrade the hubs also. The BW1356 is a great xfer case, and will easily handle over 700 ponies (first hand knowlege lol) I also recommend upgrading the drive shafts and yokes to 1410's. Non greasable ujoints are supposed to be stronger than greasable ones.

What do you mean by "upgrade the outers to a dana 70 style"? Do you mean the spindles? Since the front end swap/work is expensive, I will start with the drive shafts and yokes - then move to the other as time and money permits. Glad to hear the Xtransfer case is not on the short list.

The outers refers to the outer shaft's on the front end. The d70 outers are stronger, but do require different hubs because the spline count is different.
Also, If you can find a d60 from a 1981 or newer F350, it is literally a bolt in swap. Also, if you have a d50ttb now, the spindle and brake assembly will bolt right onto the d60.
