Yeah, mine has the rubber bushing in the case, with the tube pushed into the bushing. Trouble is, the o-ring seal a the top of the tube is tighter than the bushing...so unless you tie that booger down, checking fluid level is at least a 2-handed deal...AND you run the risk of duplicating the topic of this thread.

I feel your pain made 2 outings last year 1st one was ok 3 passes the next one 1 pass oil line blew off on top end then found the oil problem after installing the heads I bought from you and has sit in the trailer until now just amybe in 3 weeks aia will get to make a few passes

Dang mike, I hate that for ya. I am glad that it didn't turn in to a bad ride or crash though.

Chin up, Mike...If your deal works out like mine did, you'll start stringing good passes together now. After my oildown I put together a string of Quick 8 finals.

Pulled her inside today to finish cleaning the mess..
Everything thing seems ok..just real "slick"......

It was some mighty fine driving considering everything was covered in Royal Purple. Bad things happen in three's and yesterday was number 3, time to go kick some azz now

Better to wipe oil off the car than Mikey off the wall!!! We can relate with bad luck at the track, our last outing was a shorted out trans brake switch thus leaving us no reverse for round 1 in the heads up deal it'll get better bubba!!
