front motor plate for SBF question

would it be safe to mount a piece of plate to the front of the head and to the frame on each side..its a mild 302 motor..maybe 350 hp

If you have 2 or 3 good fastener locations on each head, I think it would be just fine.

Not the best idea IMO, better to use the front cover behind the water pump if your hell bent of using a plate.

That's a much better solution than bolting to the heads.
