John I ran King bearings in my 460 and haven't had any problems out of them I run the passager car bearings not the race bearing,I have them in my 552 also . They are good bearings from what I have seen from the ones I have run I am sure some will say they not any good.I am also interrested in what other say about them also come this winter I will pull the bottom end down and check them to see how they look.

The KING bearing with the SI added to the end of the part number are satisfactory bearings. The ones without the SI are merely a rebuilder's bearing and not for high performance use.

This applies to their regular line of bearings ... the "Performance" line of bearings are all good for a high horsepower engine.

"Part#CR849HP"

The HP suffix tells that the bearing is a race grade bearing.
