The "black" ones I get from my supplier work excellent.

Re: C6 front pump seal?
probably not a seal problem , pump bushing to loose or converter snout out of round or converter balloned and the snouts a wobbling around

A vehicle that sets a lot in my opinion tend to develope a lot of leaks. Put a new seal in it and check the pump bushing and converter for scaring and out of round. mostlikely just a dry seal from setting mor than drove.

Yes thats what I was going to do but read on here where someone rebuilt his and his seal started leaking after a few weeks, and somebody else said that the seals now in the kits are junk and posted a part# of a seal that was like the old one's but I can' find that post, just don't want to put one in and it starts doing it again in a few months.

Re: C6 front pump seal?
I use King-O-matic # 36070 , and most seals leak because of improper install ie: hammer and punch
