Finally Made Some Hits
Was finally able to get to the track yesterday and see how much the alky set-up changed the car. It changed a bunch. 1st launch on the brake and the car went every where but straight and the rpm's skyrocketed and it felt like the trans didn't shift into 3rd.....back to the pits. Trans is a little low on fluid but not enough to cause non-shifting, top it off, add more alky and away we go. 2nd run I lowered the tire pressure down to albs and the car launches like a raped ape, shift into 2nd and the engine immediately starts bouncing off the limiter, shift to 3rd, rpms don't drop. Trans messed up ?? Nope....put it in each gear back at the pits and the car moves....trans is good. Texted Jon Faubion to see of he had any ides. A couple of texts back n forth and he finally just calls. After the him trying to get information out of me, he finally determines the converter is way too loose with the additional torque the alky set-up is producing. Emailed Lenny ( Ultimate Converters ) last night and explained what was happening and he responded this morning ( now thats great service.....responding on a Sunday ) .....I'll talk with Lenny on Monday and ship the converter back to him for a stall decrease this week.
Thanks to Jon and Lenny for the help

I think I have every slip for every pass i've ever made. It pays to go back and analyze your slips sometimes and compare.

They weren't complete runs or even half a run, that's how bad I went through the converter. So nothing to look at actually .
