Made a couple n20 hits
My brother took it to the track, I was not able to go. The car went 5.75 @ 125mph. The 60 was shitty in my book 1.40. We had 1.30 last weekend but couldn't make a full pass because of track conditions. He was able to stay in it this weekend, but the 60ft went away. The converter is still too lose, the light comes on in high gear before the 1/8 with a 3.73 gear. Do ya'll think with a better 60 it will go low 5.60s, with the same jets?

Not only shitty air, the heat about melts the rubber off the track. We have not pulled any fuel from the base tune from steve johnson since he flowed it. I'd love to see some high 5.50s before we change jets. With the 114 lobe sep on the cam, I think it's going to take a 300 shot to make the cam work to potential.richter69 wrote:60' a good tenth off, its got a 5.60 in it for sure, gotta wait a few months as the heat this time of year is hard on drag cars.............

Chuck,
There ain't nothing wrong with a 114* lobe seperation angle. That's what I have in Kristina's engine, and would have that whether it was nitrous or not. I'm just sayin let's start out with a smaller shot than 300 Hp. Try 200 Hp at first and work your way up from there.

200 is what we have in it now, we're going to be tuning on this 200 for awhile. We are finally having some fun! So far, it has been solid as a rock, not trying to set any speed records.c.evans wrote:Chuck,
