An adapter spacer. Generally they ate 1.5 to 2 inches thick.

have changed my motorsport g429 intake same as a victor to a 4500 pad you have to use aluminum 5/16 treaded rod or aluminum bolts and a 4500 gasket. Use the treaded rod/bolt to fill the 4150 hole I loc tited mine in the cut them off even with the pad then used the gasket to mark for the holes to drill and tap for the 4500. You will be drilling on part of the filled holes so steel tread rod or bolt will not work. Not sure if this will work on yours or not as the victor type is the only one I have done.

Yea you can convert the carb pad to 4500. Takes a little bit of work, but if space is limited sounds like the way to go.

Thanks i knew it was somewhere, does look easy enough, just can't decide on a 1050 qf with adjusting spacer plate ,new nos plate and then working the intake , or just run a race 1000cfm---bolt on.Going to have to buy one or the other
