Aluminum Blue Thunder heads
Are Aluminum Blue Thunder heads worth buying? Will they produce 800+ hp on a 557 setup?

Re: Aluminum Blue Thunder heads
I have a set on my 514..Blue Thunder "B" aluminum with the Chevy exhaust bolt pattern.
Fresh, 14 to 1, single 4" Flying Toilet on alky...it made 838 HP with a very small .650" roller.
After hundreds of runs, it still dynos at a little over 800.
We have a customer with a 557 with the same heads, single dominator on gas that makes a hair over 900 HP with a bigger cam.
I will soon put my Blue Thunder top end on the market..

So what would be the best cylinder head that Blue Thunder offers that would make the best horsepower results?

Re: Aluminum Blue Thunder heads
The Blue Thunder Thor is the full-on race head they offer.
It requires lots of special prep, pistons, valve train intake and all.
They are currently not available.
HP range...1300-1400 HP N/A on gas and carbs.
The other Blue Thunders that I referred to have a normal "CJ" type intake port and raised exhaust port.
