429 hp estimates

Hey guys just looking for some best guess's on hp on my build
429 bored .30 over with Keith black flat tops.
Stock rods
dove-c heads with cj valving
comp cams roller rockers 1.72
comp cams ex274h
Edelbrock performer rpm intake
edelbrock 750cfm
rear sump high volume oil pump
Saunderson block hugger headers

estimating, on my 460 with dove heads with the same cam it made around 400 to 425 hp

what compression was your build

9.5 I had dish factory pistons.

alright tried to add as my avatar. its in the middle of being put back to gether. also im running 11:1 compression

My first car was a1950 f1 pickup....i drove it clear thru highschool.
when i finally got rid of it it had a bbf and ran mid 11's in the 1/4.
Im gonna have to get another one some day too.

Should be fun. haven't had a chance to drive it with the engine being rebuilt. it had low compression pistons in it and bearings were gone and i thought it went ok .So with flat tops and and fresh bottom end hope it goes alot better.

Brings back memories . My first was a 51 . I put a flat head in it with aluminum heads , aluminum three duece manifold and a " 3/4 race" cam in it.

Flat head would have been nice but i kinda wanted a little more power

ya its commin. it used to be a 1ton long box but we made it a short box instead looks better that way. And with that 429 in there she should scoot right along
