Valve stem seals - D3s
Hey guys, its been a while...
Im working on a buddies D3 heads with double springs and need a set of valve seals.
.495" OD on the top part of the guide, .700-.705" on the ID of the inner spring and 11/32" valve stem.
I cant seem to find what I need online. Any help would be appreciated.
edit:
This is on a 9.2:1, moderately sized hydraulic flat tappet cam, pump gas, 466. Nothing overly fancy or extreme.

A PC type seal comes in several brands ... what brand is your preference...?

I told your little sister from the north they weren't anything special. Just get some PC seals of the correct size and go. If you can't find them online, any decent machine shop in your area probably has some seals in stock or can get them quickly enough.

Karl,
He told me. I tried to tell your hermaphrodite son that stock D3 umbrella seals wouldnt work with the inner spring. I didnt think they were anything special but I knew stock wouldnt work. Im thinking 2.3 Ford seals from the parts store wouldve worked but I got these coming.
Thanks guys.
