Watching the live feed:
http://motormaniatv.com/?page_id=529
There was a wreck in the big tire class, the mustang looked familiar, like I have seen it on this site before--SN95 blue/silver with a wave pattern down the side? Maybe I have seen it somewhere else, not sure.

I agree ps. But I don't know who it is. Maybe I'll get over there tomorrow and find out. I think the name was on Yb. Got to go. Back racing again. I race tomorrow.

Cool, when do you run next? I am watching the live feed right now for the rest of the day (missed the passes in the morning).
Re: YB Nationals in MD
I ran about 40 minutes ago. Sorry,I have to get the laptop out to post. Cheap phone. I did go 10.01 again. I was #3 qualifier and going to find out in a little if I'm still #3 or better. My buddy said only one car ran 10.00 and the rest were 10.02 and up.

Charlie Booze #2 qualifier in Ultra Street in his ultra street debut----------5.12 The red freight train has one hell of a forward facing scoop on it and some white stripes on the car ........hardly recognized it.
Update Booze to #4 this am. Keassy 5.02 new record in Ultra.

Terry I saw your 10.02 pass this morning. (well, morning for me anyway). Car looked good going down the track. Good luck in eliminations. I think you are #4 now, one guy a few cars before you ran a 10.000
Re: YB Nationals in MD
Cool. I ended up in #7 spot out of 43 cars. More cars came in this morning though. I need to stay away from that -.020 this morning though.psfracer wrote:Terry I saw your 10.02 pass this morning. Same here! I was good last night and hit the room early. Maybe that's why I went red this morning. Was it a good show?
We had over 40 x275 cars here this weekend. Taylor Lastor topped Shane Fisher in the final.

Travis,he had to cover the decals up to run the class.Pretty impressive considering he's running against power adder cars.I talked to him at Norwalk last Sunday where he won the N/A 10.5 class.TravisRice wrote:Charlie Booze #2 qualifier in Ultra Street in his ultra street debut----------5.12 The red freight train has one hell of a forward facing scoop on it and some white stripes on the car ........hardly recognized it.

Yeah I saw that on the live feed, good race. At least he got the bounty money. If you are going to lose, it might as well be that way. I lost a semi final round at SCSN7 to a guy that ran his number to the 1/100th to---I couldn't believe it.bigblok2000ranger wrote:Terry just lost 10.01 to a 10.00 looked like a he'll of a good race! Re: YB Nationals in MD
Update. We ended up going 4 rounds with 49 cars in it. I lost with his .043 10.000 to my .040 10.014. I tried. This was my first year running index 10.0.
$50 bucks for the quarter final win and the $200 bonus money.
It was 2:30am by the time we loaded up, hit the hotel and went to bed. We left the hotel at 5am heading back. It took about 4-1/2 hours back to central VA.
That was the most fun I've had in a long time and want to thank you guys for the support.
The track employees and all the spectators and racers were all top-notch people.
BTW.. With 10 cars left when I went out, it was about 5 FORDS left in the field. Several people made comments about all the Fords in the class.
I hope to meet some more guys from this forum next year. Maybe I can make it to some of the Ford bashes sometime.
I will never miss another YBN!!!!

Re: YB Nationals in MD
Congrats man !!
i was on here last week and i recall you saying you were going to run 10.00 there and it was your first year at it .
I was watching the live feed here and there over the weekend and was saying to my wife that guy was from the forum im on and hes going rounds ....and BBF power to boot
You did a great job and if you look at 10.00 index as a whole class wise it was on of the toughest there most guys were deadly on the tree.
a local guy to me went to semis in 8.50 index John Sandahl ( bright orange chevy 2 nova ) hes the local 8.50 champ at New england dragway . Good guy that owns a chassis shop 15 min away
