Question on Ford Motorsport Timing Chain
While being helped out by another board member here on a different question it was suggested to ditch my Pete Jackson gear drive and install a billet timing chain. I've read that the dog bone style is not the greatest and since I have to swap timing cover gaskets this winter it makes sense to fix the problem. Are the parts I'm looking for the Ford Motorsport M-6268-A460 for the timing chain and M-6268-A460 Roller bearing thrust plate? Any special work required for the thrust plate? I run an electric pump so the fuel pump eccentric is not a problem. This is for a '70's ford block with a Comp Cams solid camshaft (34-342-4). Thanks for your help.

With the cast cam the B429 set w/cast cam gear is what you need. Use the stock cast retainer plate too.
