if it works it is worth the money, the stator the fins everything makes a converter but only someone who has experience with motors and racing can build one that will fit the application. i have a friend who just purchased a converter 800.00 i think its a BTE and the converter is way to loose stalls 4000 on foot brake and goes to 5700 on the trans brake the company told him they could not tighten the converter up for him he would have to buy another what a joke.

Hi Guys, I think the thread on Yellowbullet is a pretty good read and touches on a lot of important issues. The basis premise of "you get what you pay for" is very true, and it not only goes for the quality, performance and durability of the converter. I believe that service after the sale is as important if not more than the sale itself. We started Ultimate with the intention of designing and building one off, custom converters, not mass produced or off the shelf units. Our philosophy of using only the finest parts and attention to detail on every piece is very time consuming and labor intensive, but the end result is a happy customer that has recieved a product and support that he payed his hard earned money for. I raced NHRA Stock/Super Stock Wedge and Hemi cars for 25yrs. and know what it like on the other side of the fence. I payed my fair share for the "hot lick of the week" and walked away feeling a little less than satisfied. This all comes at a cost, as stated by Mike R. on the Thread on yellowbullet, and the cost of doing business has increased substantially in the last couple of years. If you guys get a chance, read that thread.
