Sub zero this morning, and gonna be a cool one for quite a few days. I think I'm gonna go somewhere else for a week, till this blows over.

Ice here too. Just got electricity back on a little bit ago. Can't work at the shop due to no power. Everything we need to do needs electricity.

Re: NOT GOOD!!!
Shit, it's 0 here right now. We just got 4 inches of heavy wet snow and now it's damn cold, going to be 8 below tonight. Can't complain too much, it's been good for business. They're wrecking cars right and left, we're busy as hell at the body shop.

Re: NOT GOOD!!!
Suffering at it's best. I'm always amazed at how people act when winter comes. No one is ready, they drive like idiots who have never seen snow and complain about how cold it is. It's like this every year and people act like it's something new. I can't imagine what it would be like if we had weather like Franks

Re: NOT GOOD!!!
Too damn cold.
My house is an old pier & beam deal with a crawl space under it & the floors always feel too damn cold. Some of the so called building "experts" say either (A) close off the crawl space vents & insulate with fiberglass between the floor joists, or they say NO NO NO don't insulate or close off vents because of causing mold growth under the floor structure & in the fiberglass insulation.
The shop it's self isn't insulated, but it's office & bathroom does have a little insulation in their walls. Pipes froze/broke in the bathroom a few years ago even though I always let the sink faucet drip when it's cold. So ever since then I have also been plugging in two lamps with 100w bulbs in the bathroom to help heat it a little during the night when it gets real cold.
It's also the first time in many years I went ahead and put the truck in the shop instead of leaving it outside over night.
