Re: 63 F100
I have heard Ford quit making them so quickly, because the back window would break or pop out to eaisly on rough terain. It's intesting that the 1963 Corvette was the only year with a split window, also, which was discontinued for visabiltiy reasons. Must have been a window style phase, Detroit was playing with that year?

Yeah , but I wonder why chevy didn't make a truck to compete with Ford and Dodge ?
Must have been something to the window deal in the 63 year !

Re: 63 F100
I do not know. If Ford and Dodge had problems, maybe Chevy got wind of it and did not want the aggravation? Sales may also have been low, on this style, and collision repair expense/problems, too boot may be involved? An old neighbor mentioned the window problems to me when I had my Non Unibody 1963 F100, and said it was a one year only deal, because of the window popping out, which made perfect sense to me. This thread caught my eye, and this the first picture of one I think I have seen. 427 Cammer Race Truck one off, is wild, Great Find.
