I had a motor blow up and i took the cam out of it had it straightened and polished. Now i'm going to use it in a different motor with new lifters. Do i need to break it in again??? it just an old bottom end i am using on a beater project.

If it is a flat tappet cam yes you will need to do the cam brake in again to brake the lifters into the cam.

I would suggest breaking it in with the approiate oil if you re-use it. The Zinc has been removed from most oil's to my understanding, and there are some reports of problems because of it.
