Bad ass!
I have something similar in the works. BBF with a 671 at very low boost. More for the look/sound than anything. I really dig the old school hot rod looks.
YES....NOW THAT'S WHAT A HOT ROD is suppose to be.
ps: Put the rad hose's on and lets go for a ride.
What size & brand are the front tires.

Have you ever flipped the pulleys, turned the timing down and put some race gas in it? Are you running in the range of 3-5lbs now? Very nice Ride, by the way.

Mine's a 525ci 10:1 w/ scj's, a solid flat @ about .600 lift, probe pistons, eagle h beams, and a scat forged crank. It has a puny 671 that according to BDS's charts and my pulley combo will push 4 to 6psi at 10% OD. I have a 2600 stall converter in front of a mvb C6 and a set of 3.70's on a spool out back. It's under boosted and the single (for now anyways) 950 blower carb makes it undercarb'ed but this isn't supposed to be a strip maximized terror. My wife and I plan to drive the wheels off this around Albuquerque and northern NM and take it on several road trips (Las Vegas, Santa Monica, Phoenix, Houston). FUN!!!!! It's a fiberglass '32 3 window with a 3" chop. For how I wanted it to be done up and my intensions with the car I didn't want the expense of a real steel one. Don't have to worry about dings and dents and this thing ought to weigh about 2200lbs loaded. The cubic inches alone should move it along just fine.
The pic is about a month old. I've been wrenching like a madman all winter. Only things left to do is wire it all up with a kit from American Auto Wire I have and light it off/tune it in. Everything is new and fresh. I still don't know what this engine is going to sound like with the roots and the sprint car style pipes. Should have good throttle response with the small carb and the blower.
I'll have to jot down the tire size and get back to you all on that because I'm at work now.
Please share pics of the 32-34 you drop that blown boss into! Too cool

Just started the project with the engine, going to get a rolling frame kit next.
Any suggestions for a chassis?

I got mine as a roller from East Coast Rod Shop out of Schenectady NY. My old street racing stomping grounds. Guys see it and swear its a steel bodied car. The fiberglass is that straight and the gaps are spot on. Frame, suspension, body mounted, doors & trunk hung, glass included, steering done. All that came to $15,000 plus about $600 to trailer down to me. Several different bodies and a bunch of configurations to choose from. You can go 4 bar, ladder bar, 4 link, narrowed... what ever you want. And this shop will build it as much as you like (and willing to pay for of course) before putting it on a trailer and sending it off to you.

There's a few more pics of my project there also.

Dave here's a few company's that have frames and some have bodies for your 32.
1) Speedway motors, Lots of parts and plenty of options for the do it yourselfer.
2) Fatman Fab. Plenty of options for the factory built chassis.
3) Pete & Jakes Traditional style frames bare to roller.
4) Total Cost Involved lots of options.
5) JW Rod Garage
6) Superior Glass works Turn key rollers or just bare bones.
7) Factory Five Chopped state of the art kit cars.
I hope this helps. If I were you had the big bucks I would go with a repro steel body, fenderless, no chop, on a traditional frame (straight axle, hair pins, vega steering box, drilled axle, big and little skinny tires......) that would be cool. Then again ANYTHING with a blown Boss 302 is cool. Now about that 429CJ that you keep tripping over......

Is there any particular reason you are running 10/1 compression? I was just curious and are you going to run race gas? Are you going to use a BTM? I also used the BDS pneumatic transmission modulator kit on my setup to provide vacuum. It worked well.4thHorseman wrote:Mine's a 525ci 10:1 w/ scj's, a solid flat @ about .600 lift, probe pistons, eagle h beams, and a scat forged crank. Hope we are getting pics of the entire build and not just engine. May not be what this forum is for, but I for one am interested in seeing other peoples projects especially when there as cool this one. Perhaps we should have a projects topic added to the index?
