is there any way to measure to see how much the deck may have been cut down from stock on a set of dove heads? also on these heads with a 2.25 and a 1.76 valve will there be clipping issues with a solid roller with a lift in the mid 7"s,thanks

Shouldn't be any clipping w/Dove series heads, most of the clipping issues were w/the A429 heads.

I don't know the exact measurement but, the valve cover rail to the deck surface is a CERTAIN measurement on an unmilled head from the factory; a milled head would be that amount less.
