The H beams are too, but for what those rods look like they cost I'd want it on a Ford bore space. Hell it may not make enough power to matter.........

they offer the true bbf on center F6800BB8 for under $ 800 retail is higher

i will stay with my h-b 4340 6.800 scat rods. cost less and still make the same power to me . plus i have put to the test in my old motor
did a grate job. but jm2 cent.

800= 2 sets for me
thay may look nicer than mine but that dont mean squat to me show me on the track or the dyno. and in my wallet.

Who did you order them through at that price, I paid $685.00 plus shipping, for eagle h-beams.

Got a break on them............ordered a crank and bearings as well.............

thats about the dumbest thing ive ever heard - so when you break a 400 $ rod and take out your motor ,youll wish you had 800 $ rods
its funny -youll spend 900 $ to port an intake but you wont spend it on the safe stuff

im actually buying a set of olivers instead - callies dont like that fact i was gonna turn the motor to 8200 - so they said to either buy aluminum or olivers so that what im gonna do

Gerry what are your goals with this new engine ??? what class are you gonna run ....8200rpm seems like alot of abuse on the valve train ??

local guy here has broke 1000 dollar rods..................so money has no guarantee

bruno - im gonna be runing a class called street asasian its a 8.90 index class on fridays at norwalk - i wanna make another 125-150 hp and slow it down for the class,and on fridays at milan they have a all motor class so i would need to run 8.50 ,s to be in the game - not sure if ill make the feild but gonna try bruno 8200 is on the high side - ill put spray on it one day

dont get me wrong, next set I buy will be the Oliver deals............with the Ford spacing lol.

found a dealer that sells them for $ 1100 shipped ,called oliver to confirm that they were a dealer and if they can be trusted and they gave me a 100 % so ill order them monday

Gerry why go Cheap and use those $1100 dollar rods they make some Titaniums you can get them for I think last time I looked they were $3000 those have to be better cuz they cost more don't they???? and they are even lighter.....

i have a buddy that spent $ 4000 on them Crower titanium ones had less than 30 runs on them and they were junk ill stick to my $1100 dollar rods by BME cost $1300 whats your point

I don't think the price tag on the rods is nearly as important as the sensibilty of the builder, the tuner and the driver. I have yet to see a connection between a smart racer and a fat wallet. Some people can screw up a two camel caravan.

Oliver rods are worth the money IMO, but the scat stuff is damn good for the $$$.......
