New c6 doesn't do anything in any gear????

Running a 351W in ours with 4.56's and 38" Swamper's with a grannie 4 speed. 9" Detroit back open 44 front, and a NP 205. Very happy the truck did not come with a 460 C-6, as they burn more gas, and we don't need the extra power, plus the front is alot lighter. I have a 44 Detroit but it is for the 3.70 and down gears. Made a custom ring gear spacer. I am afraid it will start breaking axles, so may just leave the open in it. Plus I am not motivated and hate shimming 44's even with dummy bearings in hand. When the 351 comes out it may go back in as a 393, because the kits are cheap. It's for off road use only and the 351W is plenty for what we do with it. Hope the C-6 hangs in there, as it is likely your weakest link, next to the 44 up front. Don't rock it to hard if you get stuck, and it will last alot longer.
