Wife or the race car

Does any of you guys have problems with the wife
Because you spend money on a so called toy ? Maybe because
She wants you to sell it so you can buy her a new taho, and says
It's got to go or she goes

My Xwife had a problem with the race car.   

Mine brought it up once after the first year of marriage. I told her "the car was here first and the car will be the last to leave. Take your pick." That was 11 years ago. Nothing else has been said and she is still there. Oh and the wife is too.☺️

Word of advice: keep the axes,sledgehammers and big destructive things out of sight from where the car is when you aren't home.

That's a big reason why I got out of pulling   . However, looking back, I'm glad I did and a friend talked me into drag racing because it doesn't cost nearly as much.

I make money at my job. It pays for the house type expenses and all that.
I make money on the side, doing various things. No one tells me what to do with my money..... no one.
The wife runs a small business on the side, that is her spending cash. I don't tell her what to do with it.

My wife said one day, "we need a tile floor." I said, "The floor we have now works." So she spent her money and had the floor tiled.
On the other hand, I say "I need 4.30 rear gears and a gear vendors for my Galaxie." and she says "your car moves just fine as it is." and I spend my own money.

Mutual respect. It is awesome. Don't get me wrong, I want her to be happy, and she wants me to be happy... but we refuse to do that at an expense to the greater good.
(been married since 98, we are closer than ever)

That'd be the day, when I'd sell a racecar to buy a g.d. Tahoe!   Beware, son...If it's like that before the wedding, it ain't gonna improve after it. Only you can decide. Best of luck to you either way.

Her phone bill her sons phone bill , and buy all the food in the house ,
We have 6 kids between us is why she says we need a Tahoe , she does
Not work but has 1400 a month income from the ex, she said
That's what real men do support there family, that if I can afford a race
Car I can afford to do everything else , what more important to me a
Race car or a family

Send her ass packing ....bitchen now and provides little to no help.....even if she is a good cook, if you keep her your days of racing or even any hobby's will be long gone

Don't think for a minute that things will change and get better, if you marry her you can expect the same attitude and behavior for the duration of your relationship. Cut your loses now, you could be making a very costly mistake.

This coming Saturday is my anniversary - my divorce papers were final - exactly 30 years ago.
Back then, my ex haughtily told me, "Well, I guess you'll have to sell the shop!".
I've still got the shop... Just don't have her...

DUDE if you have any balls at all start making her pay for her bills and see how long it takes her to move on! im telling you I have seen this type of stuff and the end result is not good.at least have a vasectomy if you follow through with it you don't want any ties with her when it goes south......
