Wife or the race car

My ex-wife told me I spent too much money and time on cars. Haven't seen her in 30 years!!! Thank God!!!
New wife loves drag racing and helps with the car..

Yeah, I'm thinking its best to run not walk away from this one!!! Anyone who wants you to make more money, but they aren't willing to put in work themselves is just plain lazy, kids or not.. I want to find a girl who races her own car, myself, but so far I've had no luck getting any of the pretty ones to like me. lol   

Well,every case is different. Here's my opinion.like it or not. It takes a lot of money to run a household in these tough times,if you are letting your bills go to support your race car,then she has a gripe. But,if she just wants rid of the car so you will spend more time w/her,then you need to compromise.My wife likes racing AND cars,she gets upset w/me because I work too much and haven't had the car out for awhile.If she's a good woman,try to make it work,because they are hard to find.Cars are a dime a dozen.jmo ..................................Good luck

If she can't support your hobby and understand the joy it brings to you then she got to go ! Your life as you know will never be the same . You need to RUN while you can the outcome of a marriage with her will be very costly to you .

easy.... my wife appreciates and thanks me for working so hard to help her and the kids survive. She holds up her end of the bargain in our relationship without complaint. I don't race perse, but I have a serious car fetish.... she really, truly and honestly wants me to be happy. She sees that my car and truck makes me very happy, so.......

a good woman wouldnt tell you to sell the car. while you hear what all "she" wants to make her happy you should think about what makes YOU happy too.

You have a proper wife that lets you be a proper husband, and are very a very lucky man, and she is fortunate also to have you. With that said, it is not what the OP is describing, and she will always put him second place or likely much lower. He is a grown Man and he will have to decide if he wants to be treated this way, as after the License to steal   is signed, it will likely get worse, not better.

There are some bigger issues here than a race car and a tahoe. You need to sit down and talk...REAL talk about things, wants, needs from each other. There are six children involved here, who are the most important.

2 of them or mine and don't live with us , just visitation
But I'm not allowed to buy things for them and send to there
Moms with them , if I buy it it has to stay , and there mom only
Gets the child support , is that right

Just so it's known , we lived together for 2 years ,she was helping with her income
All this just came up , now it's I pay everything and
She spends her money on her kids  so they can have
All the brand name clothing , just for instance she just
Bought 600 dollars , 30 under armor shirts for one child
And says the others will get the same , I think she's nuts,
The whole problem is I don't make enough money to pay every

True...you should support the family.....BUT she shouldn't expect you to give up on you're interests just because she doesn't want to help with household income.

When my son was young, if I bought him something , it went where he wanted it... Here OR there.
Thankfully, we were all on the same page ( me, his mom and step dad).

You say she buys stuff for her kids... Does she buy stuff for your's too ??
IF it was me, she had better love MY kids just as much as she does hers...
