CONVERTER THRUST CLEARANCE
Need proper converter to flexplate clearance for powerglide with BBF. I have seen info stating 060 ths and info stating 3/16. 532 stroker with 4000 stall on nitrous

1/8" to 1/4". I always try to shoot right at the middle with 3/16". I use a 3/16" drill bit as a go/no-go gauge.

your pushing your luck with a tight .125" , .060" way tight , put another blockplate in will give you another .095" ,with the .060" -now you'll have .155" still just a tic tight but should work !

im at .100 w this current setup, so far so good.
1/8" min to 3/16" max is the norm.

i had 090 clearance with mid plate and had already thought about adding the starter plate and that is what I did after seeing the suggestion. ended up about 150. Pain in the but getting converter lined up in adapter bushing put long dowel pins in and that helped a lot. Thanks for the input .
