Lunati Crankshaft problems

Don't know if anyone has had similar probem or not.just tried fitting crank in block before sending it for balancing.The radius on #4 main journal on the crank hits the saddle of the block. Wont turn at all. Returning to summit and getting a Scat..

Why not just get the crank fitted to the block with the bearings/clearances you want?

Its an A460 block .Wish I had taken a picture. No problem with the block.My Scat crank spins perfectly.

I had the same issue with the 1st batch[s] of Scat forgings....many years ago. The cast Scat shaft would spin fine. Seems someone forgot how to finish the cranks to accomadate the wider 2 & 4 main bulkheads of the A460 blocks. The issue at Scat has long since been resolved.

I guess someone should call lunati and tell them.

My eagle crank had this problem also , I had .020 or .025 milled off the side of the cap and block
