gears for a dually
Just bought a 99 f350 dually V-10 90,000 miles ,it's got 4-30 gears looking for a set of 3-55 or 3-73willing to trade or buy trying to get a little more mpg from this thing mostly hwy cruising pulling car trl. anybody running the v-10 and what have you done to improved mpg. Thanks Dave

hey dave whats going on, a friend of mine had one he pulled motor out and put a turbo weasel in it,with dual exhaust chrome pipes,stick shift,made a big difference. he had tried a k n n filter for more air kept tires inflated oil changed, and tune ups nothing really helped. one day it spit out a spark plug and that was that found a wreck at the yd and swapped it out. hows the comet running finally got mine fired up sounds great.......

Dave ,I have a set of 3.55's from my 97 f250 ps but,i think maybe yours has a Dana 80 in it.

I would be interested in buying the 4.30's when you get them out if the rear is a Dana 80.
