Come do your hog hunting in Alabama. Them suckers have taken over the state. If you can put a dent in the hog population, you'll be a local hero.

As far as I know, there's no closed season on them...they've become such a nuisance, you can kill hogs 365 days a year. I don't even think there's a limit right now, but I'll check that to be sure.

Last year I visited a friend north of town (big deer hunter). I asked him if he'd shot any hogs lately. He said, "I shot 8 of 'em last Saturday. I'd have shot more but I had to leave for work at noon. My boys are pretty good at butchering pigs now,"

NO limit on hogs.
May hunt with firearmes, bows, spears, pointed sticks or fists. Hunting with dogs allowed. (I'd recommend a pack of Catahoulas or other tough sumbitches, as hogs sometimes win.)
Only time hog hunting not allowed is during stalk only deer season and spring turkey season, for obvious reasons.

Buy a license, build a fire.

As long as Blake and Randy are invited on the hunt, this thread is still on topic.
