Blake da' Snake is Flying at Beech Bend
Okay guys as many of you know, this weekend is the NMRA Finals at Beech Bend in Bowling Green, KY. So today many of us were there and during time trials Blake stood his Mustang on the back bumper,,,, had like a 1.23 short time and was still on the back wheels about 125' out Fortunately there are plenty of pictures of this at the "event photo booth" and Blake has some that he'll be able to show us next week sometime. Meanwhile this afternoon, he was at the Manufacturers Midway purchasing some new front struts for the car and when Jack, Lawes and I left the track,,,,,they were under the front end of the car installing the new strut/shocks. The air is GOOD

Re: Blake da' Snake is Flying at Beech Bend
after the strut install he called me and said it went a 5.41 with a 1.21 60', last I looked the da there was around 670'.....that was at 6:30....and I'm sure the track prep is off the chart.
This was with the hood off, the 1/8th mile numbers came up but the 1/4 numbers suffered. I've been texting the snake and think his scoop configuration may be playing havoc on the air bleeds/air entry to the carb.

Fabio,
If he had titanium valves like you (da HeRo) do , and like KY Mustang does in his P-51 heads,,,,then he wouldn't be worried about 7,800 rpm in the lights
