Street Head Mafia "reload".......
this is a build Im doin for a buddy, I aquired my old TFS "street" heads back for this project. Ill get some pics and videos when this thing goes to the dyno. This is going in a fox and will serve dual duty as a 235 radial plate class as well as a grudge car setup.
A460 block, 4.530 bore
Lunati forged 4.5 crank
Scatt H beams w 2000 bolt upgrade
custom Diamond pistons, 13.5-1
TFS Street heads, chambers have been softned for nitrous use
custom ground Comp Cam
Morel lifter, Comp rockers
Trend pushrods, Jomar stud girdle
Ford Racing billet chain set
Kasse oil pump, Moroso pan
IW balancer w CT magnets
heavily ported victor jr inatke
quckfuel 4150 1050 cfm carb w annular boosters
Cometic head gaskets.
will use an Induction solution Real Street plate set up
will use both the 4150 and a 4500 carb for the dyno pulls.

Smooth & polish. Sharp points and rough surfaces are an invitation for potential dynamic disassembly (blow stuff up).
BTW, "dynamic disassembly" and "it came unmanufactured" are 2 of my favorite terms.

How "ported" are the intake ports if the vic jr has had a bunch of work? Is it normal to open them up to CJ size?

Thanks that is what I thought he meant but I wanted to make sure.
I will have to remember those terms, just in case.

These are my old heads and intake, Charlie ported the heads and did some work on the intake, it was already cj sized when he got both.

I suspect it's because the carb is a 4150 style 1050 which would make the thing ~ a straight gut....not much of venturi effect.
