One way clutch bearing
Question on the C6 one way clutch.
When I dissembled the one way clutch, it had a bearing assembly that looks like this.
The overhaul kit I got has one that looks like this.
When I put the new bearing assembly in, I had to take out both snap rings to get it to sit in properly but now there isn't a positive lock holding it in place other than the plastic of the cage that stops it from sliding on through. Is this correct?

Re: One way clutch bearing
Thats a later model E4OD roller. Works just fine like that. Once you set it in the clutch hub, it will rotate slightly counter clockwise and "lock" into place. Then you can flip the hub right side up and the roller will stay put.

Thanks for the replies. This is my first c6 rebuild and while I have the manual from Broader, the video from Bad Shoe and the online info from Frank, it still great to have a place to get answers to questions that pop up as I proceed with this.
