fox coilover preference
Whos fox/SN95 coilover set-ups do you guys prefer?
One adj on my current setup has the alum threads getting all f'ed up. (Yes I adj them w the tires off the ground.)
It made changing to a lighter spring a real b*tch.

Re: fox coilover preference
If we are talking about the slip-on threaded front strut coilover adapter/kits, IIRC I read somewhere that some of the cheaper sets (like off ebay) aren't hard anodized. So if true the surface of these threads are softer to begin with without the anodizing.
But regardless of the brand/maker, any coilover kit, or coilover shock body (or strut body) with aluminum threads on the body & spring seats is at greater risk of galling the threads if dirt/trash gets in there.
And steel threads arent really any better, it's a coin flip either way. Aluminum threads can get galled from dirt, and steel threads can get galled from rust.
