Travis,
Is it a two door sedan? Or is it a station wagon like Mrs B's Grocery Getter?
I always liked those '63 Tempest A/FXers

Re: 63 LeMans / Project 10.5 Tin Indian progress pics
Well got started on the car sunday afternoon. Got some center and square lines marked out on the floor as well as leveled the car in all 4 directions. Unbolted all the un-necessary stuff and proceeded to take the wheel bucket out. By Sunday nite a plan started to come together to get the new 30 X 10.5 tires under the Tin Indian on classic Torque Thrust wheels. 'Randys wheel selection was dead on as far as I was concerned for the period correct looks with new style technology and a lowered attitude. I sectioned the quarter panel and moved the wheel base forward 2" without making the wheel opening look like a hack job. Randy called Tuesday and wondered if I was thinking out a game plan on how we could get that tire in the small opening. I told him I was planning as I went and that I had stretched the wheel opening on the passenger side. He said I'll be right out !!!! I only gave him enough info that he thought that I was going to be dangerous..... Well 15 minutes later and hes standing there with the biggest grin you ever saw. Said I really had him worried when I told him I stretched the quarter panels ............. seems he thought I flared them out to get the tire in there .... He took about 40 pictures on his cell phone and was really happy with the end result. More to come .................

Travis,
Looking good !!! Keep up the good work!!!
The first time I built a Pontiac engine was in late, late 1968 and we ran NHRA SS/J with a brand new '69 GTO. Dr. Pearson got that car through Leader Automotive in Detroit, as a dum-dum delete car, which meant it was a somewhat lightweight with no sound deadner or chalking anywhere. When it came in to the local dealership, he went and picked it up and drove it home. We started making a race car out of it with a total of 11 miles on the odometer.

First.. Very Nice.. I like thoses cars!
We have a guy out here that Ponitiac gave him a No Title, No Plate C-Gas AFX car to race.. I can't remember his name but the car is white. Pretty neat to see a orignal AFX car up close..

Re: 63 LeMans / Project 10.5 Tin Indian progress pics
Well I had a visitor here on Tuesday and I remembered that I started a post here a while back. Been a month since an update. Hard to work on it every evening with the Holidays and all, since Thanksgiving it has been pretty hectic. Next step is to put the new sub frame connectors in and put some 2X4 box tubing in to tie the front part of the cage to. I have been trying really hard not to overcut on the car where we have patching of sheetmetal to do. Let me tell you it takes a ton of time.
Anyway here are some updated pics. The car is going to have a killer stance.
