Update
Quick update...
Ran the truck last sunday at our last chance 1/4 mi tnt.
Truck still spins a good bit like it did the last time I raced it 6 yrs ago. Im convinced I have the wrong tire on it and wwill be trying a radial next spring.
It ran a 10.30, 10.31, 10.38 and 10.38 @132-134MPH.
The convertor is pretty tight (4000) and the best 60' was 1.54.
Felt great to be out testing w though
Not exactly the 9.90s I was hoping for but I think if I can get it to 60' itll be easily in the 9s.
Not bad first outing IMO for a 3800lb truck on OLD dot tires, pumpgas and thru mufflers
Heres the best part....
It gets driven whenever I want!

Re: Update
Something to note....we sit at 2700ft elevation and typically have 4-5000 ft density altitude. Theres a few tenths right there if were to race it near sea level.
Hoping to get a chassis cert this winter so it can be a regular 9 sec player.
Thanks for all the support guys

Re: Update
I know most cars that run 132-134 MPH run 9.80 to 9.90 ET's so yes if you get the 60' down it will run the number you are looking for, 60' needs to be 1.35 to 1.40 to get there, drag radials or ET streets should do it

Re: Update
Just saw this post on here. Truck looks good sits nice and low and the wheels fit good up front with the new front suspension. I was afraid they were going sit in too far. Pump gas street trucks are where it's at.

Went for alil drive yesterday before the next snowstorm hits....damn I love this truck!
The chassis is getting certified in Jan and I got a new pair of MT 275 pro radials waiting to go on. Cant wait for the track to open again!

Re: Update
Sweet man. Truck sounds good and has nice response from a pretty low rpm. Those tires should help a ton.
I took my truck out Christmas Day to figure out if I fixed my nitrous issue. It ended up being the microswitch.
When does your track generally reopen?

Man seeing your F100 make me wish in a way I would have built my 69 like that instead of the Ranger
