I've purchased a 71 460 that needs rebuilt. It's completely factory. D0ve heads. I'm looking for a factory spec rebuild kit for the bottom end or entire engine that is reputable. I've only found random eBay kits from unknow origins. Any help would be fantastic.

You need to be very specific here.  Do you need pistons, cam, etc, or just a ring and bearing deal?

Their are a number of vendors here or you can try some of the big warehouses like jegs or summit .

eBay is pretty useless unless you know what to buy. It's just an random electronic catalog of junk with bad titles, poor descriptions and idiot sellers.

By bottom end I mean the whole damn thing! Pistons bearings rings, basically the rotating assembly. Like a master rebuild kit

I would recommend that you get your block checked so you know what your final bore number is going to be before you invest in the internals, .030/.060 etc. once you have the bore cleanup over bore number then you know the piston bore you need and you can look at your performance expectations and make an accurate decision as to what you want the bottom end to be...don`t rush it get it right.

If it were me, I'd look at one of the available stroker kits, especially an offset ground stock crank deal.  Performance Crankshaft has some great deals on complete assemblies.

Hi my name is vinny, I'm 23 and I trying to build the most ridiculous street car ever. I have a 1960 lincoln pillar sedan, it is 1 of 1000 ever made. It's originally a 430 mel BBF with three speed auto. I jut bought a 1971 BBF 460 and c6 out of a 71 lincoln. I'm looking to make 600hp and 550tq! I just got the engine and I'm currently seeing if I can break it free. One piston got moisture in it and rusted a little. I'll be looking for advice and parts to buy one here! I like my cars to be unique. So before you tell me that it's dumb to try to make a 5800lb car fast, I know. That's why I want to do it! Any one can make a fox body or camaro fast, try it in a 22ft long land yacht! That's a magic trick for sure. )

Here is what you want!!!!!

Stock bottom end with hyper pistons and stock rods with dove heads and a single 101mm turbo and 20lbs of boost Razz
It will be BAD Razz  JK

Build a good stroker get that 600hp and be done all on pump gas

Or build a on edge pump gas stock stroke combo and spin it hard

Schmitty and res0rli9 have been there and built them, they are offering proper advise. You have listed a HP and a torque number which is a good starting point, you also mention that your car weighs in at 5800 lbs, at that weight torque is your friend, but not your stock transmissions friend. You have mentioned a std bore (stock) rebuild kit, but you have a cylinder with rust which likely will need to be over bored at least .010 maybe .020 .030 or more. You are thinking that a stock bottom end will do ok under boost? is that a turbo or nitrous? For those of us who use them we build them to suit, not that the stock bottom end can't handle some but the related stuff can suffer too. It sounds like a cool project, but if you are looking for advise place yourself in the position of the student and keep an open mind...and don't compare a fox body to a cameo (not a typo) as there are many here that are faster than I can make them, so maybe anyone can make one fast but there are many here that are FREAKIN FAST! Look at the sponsor list look at some of the proven builds and keep an open mind and your fast land yacht will take shape. JMO
