O-Ring BBF Block For Nitrous
Thoughts on installing O-Rings in the BBF block (10-bolt) for Nitrous application, at least 1 DP kit +?, is it worth it on the BBF and if so any recommendations.

Thanks M, I agree I have pushed the small blocks but I hate having the head gaskets ventilate and need to remove and deck, especially if I go with an aftermarket block, the two I have here will probably burn up LOL ...I want to build a third BBF having never running any of them.

I was a little surprised that the o-ring process consists of file fitting copper or stainless wire, as opposed to having a 360* (not 358*-359*) CNC'd or water jetted ring tapered and driven in...maybe something to look into

I resemble that comment Lol...been there done that, used the old old school methods to compensate and burned up some stuff I think a 7531 will be in order, I tend to start with less timing and creep up on it now.

O-rings and copper gaskets work well together if you don't run water! Lol....

You can run water, you just drain it once done playing. 7 PSI cap helps cut down on the leaking too. Ive got stainless steel insert ring in the block, .033" thick copper gasket from SCE and receiver groves in the heads. All water passages had a .030 or so RTV smear that had all but set up before the head was set on the block.
