unless your gona have a lot of nos or blown you should stay away from o-ring's.i did mine and it has always leaked somewhere.i've used a lot of other ideas about how to install them and none have worked 100% as far as leaks go.you can reuse them and get any thickness but i think you can also do that with the newer MLS too.i know some who use the MLS with a lot of nos with no issues.

Re: o-ring block
This is an all out drag motor. 557, a460, 839/780 lift 14:1 cr. 114 lsa 283/304 @ .050. Im most likely gonna see if i can trade in the fms/1028's, pay the differance and get some MLS's and nip it in the bud.
This cam, the rpm range is like 5000 to 8500 with the ICL being straight up at 114 ICL. Now if i put the ICL at 108, would'nt that make the cam timing events happen sooner and bring the rpm range down? I guess what im asking is that can this 114 LSA cam be made to respond like a NA cam?

i'm no cam god but i'd think you'd want more lift on the ex.and if you have valve clearance you can advance the cam and bring it in sooner.if you're moving it more than 4*you should get another cam IMO.give Lem a call,he can hook you up with a cam that'll get you where you want to be.

Re: o-ring block
Oh yea, Lem had the cam ground and double pinned for my combo. Its a whole heep of cam for me, i think. I just dont want it to be to lazy off da line. C-6, 3:73, 28'' tire. Lem told me all about this cam and what it should be like with my set up but not about setting it up on a 108 or 110 ICL. There's no advance cut into this cam.
Thanks

Re: o-ring block
did you tell Lem you were gona spray it? it's hard to have the best of both worlds,n/a and nos.i'd put it in on 110 and check v/c.with a c6,2.46 low gear,it wont be lazy.

Go MLS. You will need to machine the block properly for them though.
