valve interchange??

I have a set of c8ve heads with bad valves ... I also have a set of d3ve heads with good valves... Can i take the valves out of the d3 heads and put them into the c8 heads???
Or who makes a stock set of valves for the c8 heads?
last time i tried i was told it would be a different length stem..

NO ... they are different lengths.
Melling, Federal Mogul, Elgin, Qual Cast, Etc. ALL offer replacement valves for the early heads.

^^^^ Randy can get you the valves you need at a good price I bought my ss valves for my dove-c heads from him if I am not wrong the c8,c9, and dove heads carry the same valves.
