c9ve valve train interchange with d3ve..
have both sets the d3's valves, rockers, pushrods etc. are in great shape would like to swap them to the c9's

found the answer... could'nt wait had to go to the darkside for a moment
"The D3 valves have the same head diameter as the dove and earlier valves but are shorter in length by almost .100". This is because the D3 and later heads have a deeper combustion chamber.
The valve train pieces rockers etc are not interchangable. Doves and earlier heads utilise a net lash system with bottleneck studs and cast iron self aligning rail rockers while the D3's use a bolt down stamped steel rocker with a sled fulcrum.
You will need studs, guideplates and roller rockers for the C9 heads or the stock pieces designed for the heads."
