leaf springs

521 with glide, ladder bar, double adjustable rear shocks, leaf springs gotta go..134 60ft. times. .1/4 mile 878 at 156mph...1/8 mile 590 at 114..car just doesnt  60ft nor run good in 1/8 mile....411 gear in 1/4 ..471 in 1/8 mile..besides putting springs on shocks, what might help instead of leaf springs...also 8 inch converter stalls at 6000.. 732 lift cam  1050 hooley...next year going to 1150 holley. doing  a lot of intake work work this winter to help it breath.. so whats going to help me  instead of leaf springs??????? 1967 mustang fastback

Got any passes on video you could post so we can see what it's doing? Is it dead-hooking or lugging the engine down any in the first 60ft? Also are you running housing floaters, (or floating/sliding leafspring mounts) with the ladder bars?

Also....What front suspension?

yes it has floater....tires are 32/13.5w/15..front end is factory strut with coil overs,,this is 2x3 box frame car that was built many years ago.....i have 2 slow motion videos to follow soon as i figure it out to send..working on it..

having a 32x13.5w that think should dead hook, I think the 6000 stall converter is to loose and you are missing the tq curve at the bottom that helps move that thing through the 60' clocks, JMO!!!
