If you have an I Phone 6, it takes ROCKIN super slo-mo vids. too. Doesn't come with all the cool mounts, tho.

the ones I really like are the ones where they video the race and then walk around the pits for 45 minutes or so and have no clue they still have the camera on....
I bet we all have to delete one of those now and then. They're usually laced with lots of colorful dialogue, too.

Re: GoPro mounting
I'm looking for a roll bar mount to go on my utv. I see's a lot of rough riding and all sort's of angles. Most of the guys use a helmet mount but I wanted to mount it on the back roll bar so you can get a good view of the mud flying!
I want to say I remember reading that the factory go pro mount wouldn't clamp down tight enough.
On second thought I might ought to go with the helmet mount so I can take it with me if I want to film other people.
Ps. I'd also like to figure out a good way of filming engine dynos and work I'm going to do on my project.

Re: GoPro mounting
I saw the flat surface on the sump of my fuel tank and thought I would try using the suction cup mounting for the GoPro on it, a quick run down the concession to see if it would shake loose. Not very fast but the truck was built to be good at nothing and fun at anything it tried

I think I'm going to buy the remote for mine, because a lot of tracks around here don't have good cell phone reception.

With the go pro app you don't have to have reception it works off wifi that is built in the camera I have it on my tablet also and it don't have internet unless I am at the house or a hot spot plus with your phone/tablet it acts as a remote. I can start recording with my phone if the camera is out of reach I just need to make some where in my truck to put the phone. For some reason when I lay in over in the seat it winds up behind the seat or under it.

The remote w/the wrist band is the tits.. especially when you're strapped in
Re: GoPro mounting
I was thinking the same thing. ;)and it would save battery life.As soon as you were on the return road you could turn camera off w/o even unstrapping.

Re: GoPro mounting
You guys have put up some nice videos!
Now for something completely different...
Here's a couple on the water. We won our division bracket championship this year at the Lucas Oil Dragboat series.
I'll be floating a 533 Ford in my own dragboat build soon!
